Sizing Guide

How to choose a handmade collar size before ordering

A good handmade collar starts with measurement, not guesswork. Before placing an order, measure the neck where the piece should sit, then add the comfort allowance you prefer. A close display fit and a relaxed wearing fit can require different lengths.

Measure the finished fit

Use a soft measuring tape and keep it flat. Do not pull it tight. If you are comparing an existing collar, measure the usable hole range instead of the full strap length.

Confirm hardware and lining

Buckles, rings, padding, leather thickness, and edge finishing all affect how the final piece feels. For custom work, send the neck measurement, preferred hole range, hardware color, and any reference photos.

Before checkout

For private handmade orders, the final quote should confirm size, material, color, hardware, production timing, and destination. This keeps the page focused on the object and avoids surprises after payment.
